PETA ICE comprise intermediate level STEM programs, for children aged 9 to 14 years. Children are taught and immersed in practical applications of Robotics through through real world scenarios. Book one or more of the following programs and get your child started on their journey.
LEGO Mindstorms Mechanical
This course will mainly focus on building different Ev3 models each day, up to 7 lessons, followed by a “Your day” on the last day. This course will familiarize students with logical building concepts, internal anatomy and software of robots we see in our everyday lives.
LEGO Mindstorms EV3
LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Core Set comes with a curriculum pack which includes 48 tutorials to help our students learn the basics. The software lets our students: Program robots, Document and track progress, Log real-time data and calculate data sets.
LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Vernier Sensors
Vernier Sensors with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 is able to provide students with advanced programming techniques from LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 brick. Students will be prompted define the problem, conduct numerous experiments, gather, visualize and analyze the data.
Students will be given introductions to the VEX Robotics Design System and Autodesk® Inventor® while learning key STEM principles through a process that captures the excitement and engagement of robotics competition.
The VEX IQ Robotics Construction Kit is loaded with advanced, yet accessible, robotics technology, to enhance the building experience. Take advantage of VEX IQ’s open-ended platform by building complex mechanical systems and then program your robot.
Android App Making
Developing Android Apps is the foundation of our advanced Android curriculum. This course blends theory and practice to help you build great apps the right way. In this course, you’ll work with instructors step-by-step to build a cloud-connected Android app.
